Frequently Asked Questions

Is your address correct? Call us at 870-246-2211 to verify.

If you have not received your bill by July 31, call us.

Did you use your tax statement to list parcels?

Did you double check that all parcels were listed on the payment screen?

Did you assess after the May 31st deadline?

If you did not pay by the October 15th deadline, penalties are added.

Do you have delinquent taxes in our county?

Did you move from another county and still have a tax bill there?

In Arkansas our taxes are billed in arears, which means that you assess in 2022 the vehicles you have at that time, but you are not billed for them until 2023. This means, for example, that on October 15th, 2022 you are paying for what you assessed in 2021.

To be eligible for the DAV discount, you would need to bring to our office your awards letter from the Veterans Affairs Office. We will then check to see if you qualify. To be eligible you need to be at least 70% service connected and totally and permanently disabled.

If you are a widow of a veteran and get the veteran awards letter, you may bring that letter and verify that you are not remarried to qualify for the exemption.
